If you haven't tried kitesurfing but would love to learn the sport, there are several groups and organizations that offer lessons to interested individuals.
Below are some groups and organizations that provide lessons.
One of Qatar's three famous kitesurfing spots is Fuwairit Beach. Located in the northeastern part of Qatar, Fuwairit Beach offers its visitors clear waters and fine sand. The winds that blow on its coasts make it perfect for kitesurfers.
Just recently, it was announced that a beach resort is set to open in Fuwairit that will be a haven for beginners and experienced kite surfers. The Fuwairit Kite Beach resort will include a yoga studio, fully equipped gym, restaurants, pools, and more.
A secluded beach by the western coasts of Qatar lies Zekreet Beach. Also known as Ras Abrouq Beach, the Zekreet Beach has a magical stretch of rocky shores and peaceful waters. The beach is far from settlements, which is why many kitesurfers enjoy the solitude.
Al Thakhira Beach offers a great view of Qatar's oldest mangrove reserve in the country. Careful not to hit the delicate mangroves and appreciate the serenity it brings.
The shallow waters at Al Wakrah Beach make kitesurfing an exciting sport for most kitesurfers. The wind that blows in the area allows for a great kitesurfing experience. Enjoy the various food stalls and activities that can be tried on the beach.
