Hamad Medical Corporation

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is Qatar’s not-for-profit healthcare provider that should be on top of your list if you want to settle and work in Qatar. Established in 1979, the Corporation manages four specialized hospitals – Hamad General Hospital, Women’s Hospital, Rumailah Hospital, Psychiatric Hospital, and Primary Health Care Centers. Criminal Evidences and Information Department

To get police clearance and documents, undergo a fingerprinting process and to report accident-related concerns, the Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID) is the right department to call and visit. It was established by the ministerial decree No. 3 /1 991 issued on May 5, 1991. Some of its major functions are the following:

  • To preserve and classify fingerprints, inspect locations of accidents, and lift trace evidence of fingerprints.
  • To document criminal information electronically, provide the investigation, search and interrogation authorities the required information in order to detect the crimes and arrest its perpetrators.
  • To use sniffer dogs in identifying criminals and finding out drugs and explosives and in other tasks.
  • To move to accident locations (crime scene) for making still photos or video-shooting of criminal accidents.
  • To draw crime scene sketches in coordination with other authorities.
