A Good Conduct Certificate, otherwise known as Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is proof of an individual's good character/conduct.

A PCC indicates that the bearer doesn't have any criminal records. This official document is normally required when seeking employment, migration, marriage, or starting a business.

In Qatar, you can apply for a police clearance certificate and track its status in easy and simplified steps through the Metrash2 mobile application. Check them out below!

Note: The prerequisite for a PCC application is a 6-month stay in Qatar and a record of your fingerprint in the MOI system.

How to apply for a PCC through Metrash2

• The first step is to log in to the Metrash2 app.
• Next, click on 'General Services'.
• Then click on 'Police Clearance Certificate'.

• Click on 'Request Certificate' and then fill in the boxes.
• Click on 'Next'.
• Now, you will see the required documents to upload based on the purpose of the certificate.
• You can upload files either from your phone gallery or you can take photos using your phone camera.
• Tick the 'I agree on validity of data' and click on 'Next'.
• Select the delivery option (Qatar Post or nearest service center).
• The last step is to make the payment using a credit or debit card.

How to check the status of your PCC application

• Login to Metrash2.
• Click on 'General Services'.
• Click on 'Police Clearance Certificate'.
• Click on 'Application Followup', and fill in the data.
• Click on 'Search' to see the status of your application.

Other important details:

• The fee for this service is QR 10.
• If you select Qatar Post, there will be an extra charge of QR 20 for delivery and it will be delivered to you in 2-3 working days.
• You can also collect your PCC from your nearest service center.
