Located in the Al Daayen Municipality, the Al Shu'aa Reserve is a vast green reserve that allows you to spot and get close enough to many animals like ostriches, goats, rabbits, pigeons, turtles, oryxes and many more!

Baladna Park offers interactive animal experiences like animal feeding, petting or even pony rides at their mini-zoo. Get to see animals like zebras, turtles, camels, llamas, rabbits & more.
The North Sedra Farm is a humble destination dedicated to entertaining kids with animal interactions, traditional restaurants and farming experiences. Pony rides, turtle, fish & goat feeding are just some of the experiences available.
Note: Farm to open by 21 October 2022.
The Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum displays a private collection of Sheikh Faisal. Aside from the museum galleries, the property consists of a horse-riding school and an Oryx reserve. Both can be toured free of charge and allow for basic interactions like horse petting.
Sealine offers more than just dune bashing and quad biking. Before the beach or dune bashing areas, you will spot many camels along the way available for rides accompanied by a camel herder or guide.
You will also find falcons you can hold on to and take pictures with. Both are offered at minimal prices, approximately QR 20-30.
Desert safari packages offered by tour operators usually include a camel ride and falcon photo as well.

2nd Chance Rescue is an animal shelter open to the public every weekend. Here you have a chance to walk or pet the dogs or cats. To ensure the shelter is open for the weekend you are planning to visit and for opening hours, call in advance to confirm.
Note: Children up to 16 years old will need to be supervised by an adult.
Souq Waqif is a great way to give your kids a chance to engage with animals in an easy and accessible way. Pony rides, camel rides, open area pigeon feeding & so much more for them to enjoy!
This traditional old market in Al Wakrah is a great area to give your kids beachside animal interaction. You can find a mini petting zoo near the kids' play area, offering fun pony and camel rides.

The Tiny Zoo Farm essentially brings a mini-zoo to your events and gatherings; however, if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, you could reach out to them for the beach horse riding service they offer.
The experience is offered every Friday starting from 6 am till 10 am at the Sealine beach.
The Dosari Zoo & Game Reserve is a privately-owned zoo with many animal interactions within a rustic setting.
Some interactions include goat feeding, pony rides, bird-holding and others.
The Al Khor Family Park displays a number of animals. From giraffes to ostriches, zebras, goats, sheep and many more. Along with viewing, you get an opportunity to feed select animals.

Horse riding is a tradition in Qatar that appeals to people of all ages. Head to Al Shaqab to allow your children to experience horse riding in one of the most elite equine facilities. An instructor will accompany the one-time riding experience.
If your child is a horse enthusiast, you could also explore the Al Shaqab facilities via a guided tour.
Note: The ride must be booked one day before at the Al Shaqab office in Al Rayyan.
