Where to donate clothes in Qatar

Are you leaving Qatar and have unused clothes that you want to give away? Or perhaps you're on a cleanup mode and want others to benefit from the old clothes that no longer fit. Whatever the case, if you have new and unused or pre-loved clothes that you want to donate and are still in very good condition, here's where you can give or leave them in Qatar.

Qatar Charity accepts in-kind donations such as clothes and toys among others through their TAYF program which has collection points throughout Qatar.

The TAYF containers are available in Doha, Rayyan, Al Wakra, Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Shamal, Ghuwairiya, Gamalieh, Jurayan Albatna, AlZaeayin, AlSakhama, and Shahaniya.

In Doha, TAYF containers are available in the following locations:

Sheikh Eid Bin Mohammad Al Thani Charitable Foundation also accepts clothing donations. For pick-up of donation, you can call them directly and provide your location as well as mobile number.

Hifz AlNaema

The social center accepts in-kind donations such as used clothes in good condition and redistributes them to individuals and families in need. For pick-up of donations, you can call them directly.

Animal shelters

Got blankets and towels you no longer need? You can donate your blankets and towels to animal shelters in Qatar like Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS) and Paws Rescue Qatar. These non-profit organizations accept in-kind donations which they use for their daily operations.

You can contact QAWS to know how to drop off your donations at +974 5539 6074. Paws Rescue Qatar has two drop-off locations: West Bay and Al Waab.

Recycle old clothes

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) launched a new service in 2021 for the disposal of large amounts of items/waste from homes and offices. People can place a request for the removal of a large volume of clothes by calling the 184 hotline number.
