Before the age of the internet, we used to listen a lot to the radio and wait for our favorite songs to be played. Nowadays, we have more options like streaming services. But if you're old school and still prefer to listen to FM radio stations, you can do so even if you don't have a radio - through an app or a website.
So here's a list of the FM radio stations in Qatar you can listen to! (in no particular order)

HOLA QATAR 92 FM is the official Hispanic radio of Qatar, launched by Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) on 2 November 2022.
With vibrant live programming, music, entertainment, and diverse educational content, “HOLA QATAR” seeks to open the doors to the Spanish Language and build a bridge for cultural exchange between all Spanish-speaking countries and Qatar.
The first Spanish and Portuguese radio station in Qatar and the Middle East, Golfo Radio 98.3 FM started broadcasting in 2019 in Doha. The station caters to the Ibero-American community in the country while also promoting the "cultural diversity of Spain, Portugal, and the Latin American and Caribbean countries through its diversity of entertainment, educational and informative programs, and its musical programs."
QBS Radio started broadcasting in 1971 for only an hour. Now the station has a number of RJs and a variety of programs which include Top 40, Me You & A Guest, The 'Kim Wilde 80’s Show’, Alternative Top 10, and In Focus.
The first and only Filipino radio station in the country, Qabayan Radio 94.3 FM started airing from Qatar in 2019. The radio station caters to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) as well as non-Filipino listeners by providing popular and throwback music and balanced programming.
Since 2011, ORYX FM has been providing entertainment and information to its Qatar listeners in French. The radio station's objective is to build a bridge between French-speaking and Arab cultures, in all their diversity.
Part of the Olive Suno Radio Network, 91.7 FM is the "first Malayalam FM radio station to be aired from Qatar." Some of its shows include Wake Up Doha, Suno Melodies, 917 Evenings, Big Show, Matinee Mashup, and Suno Weekender.
Radio Suno also includes Radio Suno Lanka, Radio Suno Tamil, and Radio Suno Melody.
Qatar's "first round-the-clock Malayalam FM radio station", 98.6 FM caters to the Malayalee expatriates in the country by keeping them abreast of the latest music and updates. The radio station is part of the QFM Media Network.
Some of the station's shows include Good Morning Qatar, Doha Junction, Khalbile Paattu, Subha Dinam, and Radio Rewind.
Radio Olive, 'Jiyo Bindaas', took 4 years before it finally went live on-air. According to its website, it's the "first-ever Hindi FM station to be aired from the State of Qatar."
Aside from playing Hindi songs, the radio station also provides information and entertainment to the Indian community in the country. Some of its shows include Zabardast Evenings, Bindass Mornings, Life Mast Hai, Friday Bazaar, and Bindass Weekend.
Radio Olive also has Radio Olive Kids, Radio Olive Retro, and Radio Olive Nepal.
Mirchi, in partnership with One FM, brings the hottest Bollywood music straight from India. Mirchi One brings to Qatar its popular shows like Mirchi Murga, Club Mirchi, and Mirchi Top 20. Mirchi, a leading music and entertainment company in India, aims to entertain not only the Indian community in Qatar but also the other South Asian communities not just through music but through the latest Bollywood updates as well.
Urdu Radio's shows include Good Morning Qatar, Daylight Delight, and Saturday Brunch. You can request your favorite songs through their WhatsApp number +974 6662 2107.
Broadcasting in Sinhalese and Tamil respectively, the two radio stations give a dose of Sri Lanka to the Qatar community. The two infotainment radio stations use Qatar Media Corporation's transmission facilities.
Sithula Radio has been online since 2019 and on-air since 2020.
FAME FM Qatar is an entertainment radio station in the country that mainly plays Arabic music. FAME FM Qatar started streaming online through their website in August 2020, highlighting Top 40 Arabic songs and also playing some English, French, Spanish, and Turkish Top 40. Most of the Arabic music is Levantine with some from Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and the GCC.
