There are many stray dogs and cats in Qatar needing a new home. You can help them find a new home by adopting or in many other ways.
If you're not sure where to start but willing to help, the ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team has rounded up a list of animal rescue groups and shelters in Qatar where you can adopt or help.
Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of animals in Qatar. The organization which aims to help stray and abandoned animals was founded in 2004 and is run by volunteers.
Paws Rescue Qatar is a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to providing a safe haven for homeless animals until they can be placed in responsible, loving homes. The animal charity saves abandoned, injured, and abused animals in Qatar. It also relies on donations and volunteers.

2nd Chance Rescue started out as a solo rescue mission by Abdulla Al-Naemi in 2009 to help abandoned puppies. It has since turned into an animal shelter working to rehabilitate and find new homes for animals as well as providing medical, physical and emotional care for them until they get adopted. 2nd Chance Rescue is also a non-profit organization relying on contributions and volunteer efforts of the animal-loving community in Qatar.

BarkinQ is a foster-based group (not a shelter) run by a dog-loving couple that started in 2016. Aside from helping stray dogs find homes, they also seek foster families in Doha and flight buddies to the USA.
CAT Lovers Qatar (CLQ) is a group of volunteers who rescue abused, dumped and neglected cats around Doha with the aim to re-home them. The group also manage a number of colonies of community cats across Qatar. CLQ ensure that the cats within their managed colonies receive one meal per day and also fresh water. They also neuter/spay the cats and make sure any health issues are treated.
Qatar Animal Rescue is a group comprised of locals and expats whose main goal is to rescue stray animals. The Qatar Animal Rescue has a team of rescuers, volunteers, and fosters that dedicate their time to help find homes for stray animals in Qatar. This organization, apart from finding permanent homes for animals, also has their own Facebook group where community members could post about the latest updates on animals up for adoption.
A non-profit organization, Pawmise Rescue Qatar rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes animals. The pets that they are able to rescue are usually up for adoption and foster care. Along with Furry Good Deeds, Pawmise Rescue Qatar has rescued more than 300 stray animals. Some of the animals that they are able to rescue are available to adopt not just in Qatar, but also in Canada, the UK, and Europe.
Find Me A Furrever Home, Qatar is a Facebook group with over 21,000 members dedicated to sharing and informing citizens and residents of Qatar about stray animals in their areas. The group is focused on helping these strays be adopted, fostered, or relocated to lucky homes in the country.
With over 50 rescued animals in its care (mainly cats), Furry Paws Rescue is an independent rescue page founded by Anna Hayley Desouza. Furry Paws Rescue aims to rehome its rescued animals and is currently looking for assistance on its animals' travel requirements for their forever homes abroad in US and UK. It has coordinated with several vet clinics such as the Royal Vet Clinic and vet4pets clinic; donors could give directly to these veterinary clinics for the donations they wish to provide to Furry Paws Rescue!
