Organized by Qatar Olympic Committee and Qatar Cycling and Triathlon FederationThe Ultimate Race offers multi-sport events for different types of athletes. Saturday will offer s SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON (individual race), there will also be an event for youth who will race in a DUATHLON contest.

SATURDAY 19^th of March 2022

SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON (16+): QR 500

• Athlete falls into age group with reference to his/her age on the 31st of August 2022
• 750 m swim, 20 km cycle, 5 km run (male / female)
• Open (age 16+)
• Veteran (age 40+)
• Anti-doping tests will be conducted after the competition.

YOUTH DUATHLON: QR 75

• Run – Bike – Run (male / female)
• Athlete falls into age group with reference to his/her age on the event day)
• Youth 7-9 1 km run: 2,6 km bike, 1 km run
• Youth 10-11 1 km run: 2,6 km bike, 1 km run
• Youth 12-13 1 km run: 6,5 km bike, 3 km run
• Youth 14-15 1 km run: 6,5 km bike, 3 km run

RACE PACK PICK UP

SPRINT DISTANCE – Pick up your pack (number, timing chip) on race morning from 5 am – 6:15 am. The transition will close at 6:15 am.
Please arrive early to allow yourself time to set up your gears in transition.

YOUTH DUATHLON

• Youth 3&4: Pick up your pack on race morning from 5:00 am – 6:30 am. The transition will close at 6:30 am. Please arrive early to allow yourself time to set up your gears in transition.
• Youth 1&2: Pick up your pack on race morning from 7:00 am – 7:30 am. The transition will close at 7:15 am. Please arrive early to allow yourself time to set up your gears in transition.

PRIZE MONEY

A total of QR 350,000 prize money will be distributed from this race.

COVID-19 VACCINATION

All participants must be fully vaccinated or have a negative result from the Rapid Antigen Test within 48 hours.

EVENT SCHEDULE

5:00 AM: Bike mechanic support opens
5:00 AM: Registration, Transition area opens
6:15 AM: Transition area closes
6:15 AM: Mandatory race briefing
6:30 AM: SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON wave swim starts
6:50 AM: YOUTH 3&4 DUATHLON START
7:30 AM: First SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON athlete finishes the race
7:45 AM: YOUTH 1&2 DUATHLON START

PARKING INSTRUCTION

*REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH DETAILED RACE INFORMATION THREE
DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. INFO WILL BE ALSO AVAILABLE ON THE EVENT WEBSITE.

The Sprint distance race will count also for Qatar National Triathlon Series (athlete falls into age group with reference to his/hers age on the 31st of August 2022).
