The 2012 Tennis Open is back for another edition. The most celebrated local players will battle it out at Khalifa International Tennis Complex and at the InterContinental Doha tennis courts for the coveted title and prize money. This November the Qatar Tennis Federation and the InterContinental Doha bring the Tennis Open 2012 to their courts. The event gathers some of the top tennis players in the country. The annual tournament will take place in and around the Khalifa International Tennis Complex and the InterContinental Doha starting on Monday, November 5 and running until Monday, November 19.
All tennis players in Doha are invited to participate in the Tennis Open. They will compete in 19 categories for men and women and boys and girls. There will be 19 finals played during the duration of the Tennis Open 2012, usually only one final is held on the last day, November 19 (most likely the men's singles or doubles final). The draws and order will be announced after October 25.
A total of QR 49,000 in cash prizes from QTF and a total of QR 100,000 worth of gift certificates and vouchers will be given to the winners. The awards ceremony will follow right after the final on Monday, November 19 at the InterContinental Doha.
