Some of the world’s top athletes will feature in this week’s QNB Asia Triathlon Cup Doha 2021.

The two-day event – with $20,000 up for grabs in prize money - where 59 athletes from 21 countries will cover World Triathlon’s Olympic distances in swimming, cycling and running.

Hosts Qatar will also field five athletes at the event including the experienced Ebrahim Al Romaihi, during the event that is part of the Continental Cup Series supported by World Triathlon, the global governing body. The QNB Asia Triathlon Cup Doha 2021 is supported by event sponsors QNB, partners Qatari Diar, NTT, Rayyan Water, Sports Corner and Rasen Sports.

ASIAN CUP TRIATHLON - ELITE RACES

Asian cup races are open to all nations, so give your country's athletes a competitive edge by cheering them round the stunning Lusail City course. Show the world that Qatar is passionate about triathlon! Only athletes selected by their national federation are eligible for the elite races but you can race over the same courses in the public races on the previous day. Spectating at the elite race is not ticketed, simply show up at the venue.

ASIAN CUP - PUBLIC RACES (QATAR NATIONAL TRIATHLON SERIES - RACE 2)

The Asian Cup comes to Doha, bringing with it a season highlight for amateur triathletes. This year's Lusail City Triathlon features a new bike course and you'll compete over the same routes as Word Triathlon's elite. Always one of the best races on the calendar, this year will be extra special, with the opportunity to cheer on your country's athletes the following day.

5:15 AM Transition Area opens. Registration opens. Chip pick-up begins.
7:10 AM Transition area closes
7:15 AM Mandatory pre-race briefing
7:30 AM Adult + junior wave swim starts
8:50 AM Youth run start
9:30 AM Podium presentation
