The Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Wednesday announced that it has decided to hold all remaining football matches of the Amir Cup, QNB Stars League, Second Division League and Qatargas League for the 2019-2020 season without the presence of fans in the stadiums starting Thursday 12 March 2020 until further notice.
This decision comes within the framework of the efforts and measures taken by the state to limit the spread the coronavirus (Covid-19), in order to ensure the safety of the fans in the stadiums hosting the matches.

Qatargas U-23 League is a competition organized by the Qatar Football Association which was inaugurated at the start of the sports season 2017/2018.
A total of 12 teams feature in the new league that has been devised to prepare the young players for top-flight football in the country.
The 12-team league is held over 22 weeks with a total of 132 matches.
