Event Description
The Midnight Encounter is a new challenge to all runners & mountain bike enthusiasts in Qatar. This event is expected to attract runners and bikers to take part and race to be the first Midnight Trail Encounter Champion.
The trail in Lusail International Circuit Ground will host this unique event. It will be set in a loop type trail circuit and participants have to complete the number of laps required depending on the category that he/she registered. The whole course will be mark with an LED/warning lights spaced between 30-50 meters apart. It will give the participants experience were they will be tested with their endurance, focus, skill and will to complete the race.
This is also going to be great venue for family bonding activities as it will be in a green open field that the spectators and guest can enjoy camping, barbeque and a great outdoor atmosphere.

Course/Route Description
Max. Time: all categories – 3.0 hours
The 3km loop trail circuit established around Lusail International Circuit Ground with natural trail will give the participants a taste of a MTB Night Cross Country Race and a Night Trail Run Race at its best.

Categories & Qualifications
All participants must enter as an individual rider and may register in either three categories.
• Open Men – 30.00 km
• Open Women – 18.00 km
• Novice – 18.00 km


Trail Run Event: MIDNIGHT TRAIL RUN
June 27, 2014 12:00 mid night- 3:00AM

Categories
All participants must enter as an individual runner and may register in either three categories.
• 12km Men
• 12km Women
• 6km Men
• 6km Women

Registration:

MTB: 7:30pm-8:30pm
RUN: 10:30pm-11:30pm

There will be NO REGISTRATION FEE; instead participants are ENCOURAGE to donate any amount that will be used by Qatar Sand Stormer’s for their CHARITABLE CAUSE.
