The IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 are taking place at Khalifa International Stadium from 27th September to 6th October. There are over 2000 athletes from 213 countries competing for ten days. The event is happening in the Middle East for the very first time and this is the third biggest sport event in the World after the World Cup and Olympics.
The local organising Committee of the IAAF World Athletics Championships is teaming up with different communities in Qatar to hold events at Doha Festival City and City Centre malls to promote the Championships but to also deliver the message that Doha is welcoming the world from 27th Sept to 6th Oct.
The Doha Festival City has also built a mini Khalifa Stadium to give fans a feel of what’s it like to be in a stadium and during competition time.
