Cycling is now a major feature of Aspire Zone with the commencement of new cycling routes and a cycle hire scheme.

Part of its commitment to encourage active lifestyles in the community, Aspire Zone has established a circuit which can be used by those who have their own cycles or people can hire a cycle from Aspire Zone.

Cycles that can be hired are from ages 5 years to adults and include a safety helmet.

This new service will be available for free starting from 2nd Oct – only till 11th Oct 2014, then a charge of 20 QR per hour (+5 QR per hour thereafter)

Cycle hire will be available Sunday-Thursday from 4.00pm – 8.00pm and Friday-Saturday from 12.00pm – 8.00pm. During the Eid holiday it will be open every day from 12.00pm – 8.00pm.

The circuit and cycle hire outlet are located behind the giant screen and children’s playground area near the Aspire outdoor football pitches. The easiest way to find the location is to enter the Aspire Zone from the road that divides Villagio and Hyatt Plaza shopping malls and follow the signs.

A Qatari ID is required to hire the cycle.
