W-LEAGUE STARS - AMAZING WAFFLE composed of top ALL FILIPINO basketball players in Doha will play against the First Team of Al Arabi Club on March 27, 2015 at Al Arabi Club. Regular W-League games will be played also before and after this basketball showdown. Included in the W-League Stars are Michael Paderes (FILEX 1X-MVP and OPEX 1X Finals MVP), Ronnie Cajayon (FILEX 1X MVP, Inter-Company 1X MVP), Khim Calo (Inter-Company - 1X MVP, 1X FINALS MVP), and Rodel Mallari (OPEX-1X MVP). Completing the Stars line-up are Former PBA players Arnold Calo & Nino Gelig, plus multiple awardees Jason Tiongson, Eric Tamayo, Kemuel Proceso, Sandie Limin, Mardie Limin, Francis Mercado, and Francis De Leon. Al Arabi Basketball Team will play in the upcoming EMIR CUP in April 2015
Coach Rey Eusebio of MZP (2X Coach of the Season) and Coach Ferdinand Rodriguez of Lucky Seven (1X Coach of the Season) will coach this team. Mr. Henry Desiderio of Batang Sanna, Mr. Archangel Gamboa and Mr. Nur Emir Manguinao are the team managers.
