Penultimate round of Asia Road Racing Championship at Losail International Circuit

The penultimate round of the 2015 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship will take place this weekend at the Losail International Circuit and the 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship.
Begun in 1996, this championship has been, and still is, the only Asia-wide motorcycle championship. For its 20th edition, the Asian series will feature a 6-round calendar hosted in 5 Asian countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Qatar. The number of race categories have also increased to five classes – two developmental classes, the Honda’s Asia Dream Cup and the Suzuki Asian Challenge, and the three open-make classes comprising of the Underbone 130cc, the new Asia Production 250cc and the SuperSports 600cc.
According to the provisional entry lists, in the SuperSport 600cc there will be a wild card from QMMF Racing Team taking part in this round, Essa Al Mutawa. The Qatari rider, who is taking part in the Qatar SuperBike Championship, is very excited to take part in this championship and hopes to have a good results, despite the high level of the competition. In this category, the second wild card will be Abdulaziz Baker from the Saudi Falcons team.
The young Qatari rider, Abdulla Naief Al Qubaisi, who is also taking part in the Qatar Supersport Championship, will be a wild card in the Honda Asia Dream Cup.
On Thursday 1st October there will be Practice Sessions for all the 4 categories and on Friday there will be the first races of each category: 17:00 Asia Dream Cup, 18:05 Underbone 130, 19:00 Asia Production 250cc and 19:50 SuperSport 600cc

The second races will be on Saturday starting at 19:00 with the Asia Dram Cup and closing the event with the Race 2 of SuperSport 600cc at 22:30
