RIDE FOR EDUCATION, TOGETHER, WE CAN EDUCATE MILLIONS OF CHILDREN.

After its huge success in 2018, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel along with Qatar Marriott Business Council, is proud to be hosting the biggest charity cycling event ‘Ride for Education’ through Road to Awareness initiative again this year.

A committee represented by Marriott properties in Doha organizes a wide variety of corporate social responsibility events across the country, in association with Road to Awareness, a Marriott International initiative that aims to make a positive difference to underprivileged children by aiding in providing them a better future.

The charity bike ride will be in support of Education Above All ( EAA) Foundation and funds raised will benefit EAA which will be led by Qatari cyclist and Carbon Wheels Founder Ali Bin Tawar along with the founder of ‘Road to Awareness’ Guido de Wilde, Marriott International COO in the Middle East.

Total Distance: 20km Non-Professionals and 40km Professionals

40km - Route: Sheraton Grand Doha to Lusail Multi-Purpose Stadium and back to Sheraton Grand Doha.

20Km - Route: Sheraton Grand Doha to Al Tarfa Roundabout (near Doha Golf Club) and back to Sheraton Grand Doha.

Registered riders will receive a complimentary cycling jersey and full access to the event.

Age Restriction:

The event is open to all ages. Registered riders is open to ( Ages 3 – 70).

Gate Rules:

Access is available at 07:00 AM wherein riders are expected to complete the registration requirements before the ride starts at 08:00 AM.
