WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATIONS IN QATAR 2010 gathered over a thousand participants starting 4 years onwards in 6 categories for the Painting Contest at the International Academy for Intercultural Development (IAID) last 4-5 June 2010. Alongside the contest is a film series on the environment enjoyed by the kids and their families! Awards, prizes and recognition await the winners and runners-up on the Prize Awarding Ceremonies at 5pm on 26 June 2010 at the Qatar National Theatre. Special event in association with the Friends of the Environment Centre (FEC), UNESCO-Qatar, Qatar Photographic Society, Faber-Castell,iLoveQatar.net and Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar.
