Prominent author and political scientist Fouad Ajami will give a guest lecture called "Tracking the Arab Spring: The Best Day after a Bad Emperor is the First" at Georgetown Unversity in Qatar on November 21.

Fouad Ajami is a Senior Fellow of The Hoover Institution at Stanford University and co-chair of Hoover’s Working Group on Islamism and the International Order. From 1980 to June 2011, he was the Majid Khadduri professor and Director of Middle East Studies at The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Ajami is author of several books, including The Arab Predicament, The Vanished Imam and others.

The lecture begins at 6 pm inside the auditorium at the Georgetown campus in Education City.
