Hello Everyone,
We have finally received approval to host the Qatar National Cancer Society(QNCS)/Think Pink Qatar(TPQ) Breast Cancer Walk on October 25th on the Corniche starting at 5:00pm.
Registration will beginning again on October 5th at the QNCS[. To receive a map for the location of QNCS please email me at [email protected] or you may call QNCS on or after Oct 4th when QNCS will reopen it doors after the EID holiday.
October is the offically month for Breast Cancer Awareness, we need to help as many people as we can know what resources are available to them here and to raise money to pay for treatment for those who can not afford it.
Many people are under the impression that everyone in Qatar has free medical or insurance from their employer, this is just not the case.
Many expat that are domestic workers or work in the administrative fields are often not given these types of services and are left un-treated. There are also many women that are unaware of what resources are available to them and hopefully with Think Pink Qatar teaming up with the Qatar National Cancer Society we can reach all women and help them fight for life.
