The Laughter Factory, which has pioneered stand-up comedy in the Gulf in the 90's, is back to stage a series of shows on October 12 and 13 at the Ramada Plaza.

The two-night comedy show promises an exceptional entertainment featuring three of the best stand-up comedians from the comedy store in London. Set to tickle the audiences here this October are Andy Askins, Steve Williams and Craig Campbell.

Andy Askins is a diminutive figure who exudes an air of vulnerability and an innocent child-like quality as he steps up to the microphone armed with a guitar and a cheeky grin. It's an overwhelmingly misleading demeanour which serves to heighten the impact of the killer lines that he delivers.

He has an expertly crafted routine littered with an eclectic mix of offbeat comic songs and parodies. A talented musician with a captivating voice, popular songs have been re-written and given a perverse twist to fine comic effect.

Once the notorious host of Canada's legendary Ed's Night Party and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows (Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs), Craig Campbell is now set to star on UK television as presenter of Sky One's new hit series From Wimps to Warriors.

Hailed by The Independent as 'The Prodigy', Steve Williams is a supremely enjoyable and hugely popular Welsh comedian and writer who continues to enchant audiences around the globe with his quirky and imaginative fun packed stand up shows.

The show starts at 8 pm and tickets available at F&B Office or Shehrazad at the Ramada.
