Qatar Tourism Authority will be hosting the third edition of the Taste and Fun Festival February 8 to 11, 2012 at the Doha Exhibition Centre. This year more than 65 restaurants, cafes and hotels will participate, each showcasing their signature dishes. This is the biggest response ever.

Also, for the first time, there will be a special section highlighting the food of one nation. This year it will be Japan, to mark the 40th anniversary of official relationship between Qatar and Japan. Excitingly, the Japanese Corner will see the chef from the Japanese Embassy (whose sushi is divine) as well as a special guest chef from Japan cooking up dishes. Visitors will be entertained by a jazz band, kids games and other entertainment. There will also be a chance for visitors to vote for "Best Dish".

Vouchers will be on sale for QR5 each, with dishes priced between QR5 and QR15.
