Qatar Foundation International is encouraging youth to understand the issues of climate change and to raise awareness in their communities. With that in mind, they have implemented one of their biggest programs this year, titled "The Road To Doha," in the lead up to COP18/CMP8. Learn more about RTD here.

QFI's partners, students, educators, parents, staff, reporters, and everyone else are encouraged to assist in reaching the goals of Climate Change awareness, and can be done in either of the following ways:

1. "Count Me In" video submissions: QFI has partnered with WeVideo to launch a global online video collaboration campaign as part of COP18 "7 Billion, 1 Challenge" call to action. The digital space we have developed allows for people from around the world to upload their own videos (1 minute max) completing the phrase " I believe we can…" They will be able to add their voice to the climate change conversation and be a part of COP18/CMP8 even when not physically present. Additionally, they can remix submissions to create longer videos that will then be submitted to film festivals such as SxSW. Visit here for details on Count Me In.

2. One Million Acts of Green Facebook App: we have partnered with One Million Acts of Green, to create a Facebook application for people to share their daily "Acts of Green", highlighting that every act, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction. Additionally, the One Million Acts of Green campaign compiles the act to aggregate the collective reduction in GHG's, electricity and water saved. Visit their Facebook app and get involved.
