Qatar is blessed with around 563 km of a beautiful Coastline. Therefore, it is our responsibility to keep this coastline always clean for everyone to enjoy safely and sustainably.

Qatar Volunteers ‘QV’ organise beach clean-up with the help of volunteers annually, removing many bags of harmful marine litter. We are proud of this but with your help we can do much more. We are encouraging everyone to join our annual campaign.

To all lovely volunteers, we are glad to announce one of the most popular Environment Awareness Campaign “Beach Cleaning Campaign”.

For our new volunteers who will be joining us for the first time, the purpose of this campaign is to spread environmental awareness in the community.

This year we have selected Sealine Beach. This is an environmental awareness campaign and volunteers are encouraged to speak to the public to spread the awareness.

Details of the Campaign are:

Campaign date: 14.03.2014 (Friday)
Cleanup location: Sealine Beach

Meeting point: KFC parking on the Airport Road
Time of meeting: Sharp 7:30am
Leave for Beach: Sharp 7:45am
Expected to reach Beach: 8:30am approx.
Beach cleanup starting time: 9:00am
Expected to finish Beach cleanup: 10:00am approx
Refreshment: 10:15am approx.

We will be providing the following:
Large size garbage bags
Hand Gloves
Refreshment

This campaign is open to all the public. Kindly spread the message in your friends and colleagues. People are encouraged to spread the message and bring their families, friends and colleagues.

We request you to bring your own:
Beach Mats
Beach Chair/Beach Table etc…
Beach toys for kids
