QBIC is hosting special Speaker Series session with two global speakers - Louis J. Foreman and Dr. Kai Ruggeri who will be sharing how to successfully implement the idea and how to lead innovations to success. We will kick-off the event with QBIC startup RINFO launch! The event will take place on 9 February 2015 at QBIC.

Keynotes in more details:

Louis J. Foreman, founder and CEO of Enventys, Edison Nation and Edison Nation Medical, creator of the Emmy Award winning TV Show Everyday Edisons, is going to talk:

You’ve Got a Great Idea…What’s Next?

Let’s face it, coming up with Ideas are easy. The difference between a great idea and making money from an idea is the execution! When you have a great idea for a product or a business, you need to determine if it is feasible. So before you quit your job or cash-in your savings account, there are 5 questions you should answer BEFORE you start spending money on your idea. This discussion will take you through those five questions and put you in a better position to determine if “there’s enough juice for the squeeze”.

Dr. Kai Ruggeri, researcher and lecturer at the University of Cambridge will speak about:

Measuring Ideas: Knowing When Innovations Become Successes

It’s a complicated world out there, so a structured approach to entering and competing in any market is the best way to sustain entrepreneurial pursuits once you’ve set your sights on something. This goes for businesses, charities, governments and even universities, but there is no clear recipe nor a single definition of success. Using a global and diverse set of topics built on real examples, this presentation will explore a mindset of scientific structure and dynamic thinking as a currency for successful innovations. We will look at positive and negative outcomes, closing with a specific, detailed example for direct application that demonstrates the gain from such approaches.
