Celebrate the coming of spring with QAFCO at the annual Flower and vegetable Show on April 8!

The event features colorful displays of fresh flowers, vegetables, food and ice carvings, potted plants and more. The event showcases QAFCO’s care for aesthetic appreciation, environmental awareness and green policies. The show attracted more than 400 competitors, displaying some 4,500 exhibits last year.

The event is held under the auspices of H.E. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry.

The show begins at 9:30 am. The day's program:

* 9:30 - Opening ceremony
* 10:30 - Live competition in vegetable carving
* 11:00 - Live competition in drawing (for school children)
* 14:00 - Live competition in ice carving
* 18:00 - Prize annoucement

The event takes place at the Al Banush Club in Mesaieed. It is open to all members of the public.
