UNOCT is pleased to invite you to attend the virtual Hi-level event on the margins of the Second Counter-Terrorism Week organized jointly by the UNOCT International Hub on Behavioural Insights to Counter Terrorism and the State of Qatar.

Moderated by Chief of the UNOCT International Hub on Behavioural Insights Dr. Aynabat Atayeva, the Hi-level event will feature key presentations from Mr. Vladimir Voronkov, Under-Secretary-General of UN Office of Counter-Terrorism, Major General Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Ansar, Head of the National Counter Terrorism Committee of the State of Qatar, Major General Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Ansar, Head of the National Counter Terrorism Committee of the State of Qatar, H.E. Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations, and other prominent speakers.

The side event will look into how digital technologies play an increasingly important role in terrorist planning and attacks, and how the Behavioural Insights approach helps address these demands. Confronting this requires an approach which is sufficiently flexible to cater for the evolving nature of the threat and the digital landscape.
