Doha – For third year in a row, IAID, a novel academy for Dance, Music, Arts & Fitness, a first of its kind in Qatar has achieved a 100 percent pass rate for the London College of Music (LCM), University of West London UK, Summer Examination.

Facilitated by LCM examiner Mr. Ian Seddon, the Summer Examination was held from 21-28 June 2012 at IAID premises with 157 candidates who took the exams for Classical Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Classical & Acoustic Guitar and Western Vocals.

London College of Music Examinations (LCM) is an international board offering graded and diploma qualifications in music, drama and communication. It is being held across a large network of exam centers worldwide including IAID in Qatar, and is unique in the graded examinations being awarded by a university which caters to candidates of all standards and covers all levels.

Being the first and only Public Center in the Middle East for LCM, IAID strives to keep up the tradition of excellence by providing quality training that nurture creative learning and a positive platform in achieving young artist dreams and aspirations across the country.
Ms. Marianne Indrinal, Center Manager said, that IAID maintains high standard in preparation for the bi-annual LCM examination and the exemplary marks over the years are strong indication that IAID students developed a superior discipline in the field of music and an extraordinary appreciation for distinction. As a confirmation, three IAID students attained a perfect score in the last summer examinations namely: Calista Fernandes, Keith Cyriel Bacsa (Electronic Keyboard) and Rahul Manu Joseph (Acoustic Guitar). This is in addition to the last year’s perfect score achiever Anand Sathish from Acoustic Guitar Class.

The LCM Winter Exams is tentatively set on the last week of November and currently the Academy is accepting application from IAID and non IAID students until 2nd October 2012. For more information about the LCM exams and certificate courses of IAID, please call 6671-0589, 5538-1960 and 4432-0974.
