Fireworks and water shows will be fun filled activities for the families. Katara will present an artistic show the first of its kind in Arab World, Giant Puppets ‘’Ali Baba and the forty thieves’’ will go around the Cultural Village in its streets and hallways and the final destination is the Amphitheater.
The visitors will witness events from Arabic heritage, through the excited stories specially the story of ‘’Ali Baba and the forty thieves’’, also acrobatic dance tilted “Dance on fire”.

The shows will take place all days of Eid Al-Adha (15 Oct - 18 Oct 2013), the first performance will start from 5:30 until 6:30, the second from 8:30 to 9:30 then the fireworks will last for 15 minutes.

Come and meet the Giant Puppets who will offer renditions of Ali Baba and 40 Thieves daily from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

The Pearl

The festival which will kick off on the first day of Eid, Tuesday October 15, extending until Friday October 18. Over this period, The Pearl - Qatar will host a number of cultural, artistic, and entertainment programs.

A Bubble Show goes from 8pm-9pm daily at Parcel 3, a kids zone goes from 6pm-9pm at Parcel 18, musicians perform from 6pm-10pm in Parcels 2 and 4, and water screen projections decorate the marina from 5pm-10pm.

Book ship Logos Hope

The World Biggest The Logos Hope, a floating book shop, is here and docked at the Doha Port until 20th Oct. 400 crew members from more than 45 countries, Logos Hope offers a selection of over 5,000 titles at affordable prices. QR2 entrance fee is charged (free entry for children under 16, but must be accompanied by an adult), and visitors need to take a shuttle from the port parking lot and have ID handy.
The daily opening hours are 2pm to 10pm. There will be a special forenoon session, exclusively for ladies, on October 16, from 9am to noon.There is also a café which sells ice cream, drinks and snacks.

The Aqua Park

During eid they are open from 10 Am to 10 PM in all days
*During Eid days there will be no Ladies day. Next ladies day will be October 22nd.

Hajj - Journey through Art

For more than 1350 years, pilgrims have travelled to the city of Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Hajj, and today about 3 million Muslims take part every year from all over the world.

This MIA-curated exhibition, in collaboration with the British Museum, takes visitors on a journey exploring and illuminating the Muslim pilgrimage of Hajj. It presents artworks from MIA and objects from Qatari collections, many of which have never before been displayed in public.

Full Moon Drumming with Patrick Dilley

Entry to the event is at QR 220 per person. The package includes overnight desert safari, optional dune bashing, drinks and a sumptuous barbecue meal.

Patrick plays many different percussion instruments and drum kit but is specialised in the West African djembe drum and its’ associated instruments. He is a qualified Learning Facilitator and uses these skills when teaching at schools or for running interactive teambuilding sessions using drums and rhythm. He currently performs solo and with his Team Spirit drumming band and plays drum kit in a rock band.

Royal Circus

Starts on the first day of Eid, 15th of October.
Royal Circus will feature unique shows and acts by world famous performers from more than 9 different countries, making it a truly international event.

The team will perform three shows during Eid holidays (4.00 PM, 6.30 PM and 9.00 PM). It is the first time in Qatar.
The life-size Lightning McQueen will be featured at Carrefour outlets in Landmark (October 13 to 16) and Villagio (October 17 to 19).

Carrefour is organising the exhibition of Lightning McQueen as part of the Eid al-Adha celebrations in Qatar. The event aims to entertain and offer souvenir photograph opportunities to children visiting Carrefour during the holidays.
