The Ritz-Carlton, Doha will hold its annual Festival of Senses, hosting chefs, culinary experts, artists and artisans from around the globe, from June 3 to 8. The resident chefs and culinary team will join hands with the visitors from far and wide to offer six days of culinary delight and a host of cultural activities.

Festival of The Senses, a celebration of all five senses, will offer an array of events from gourmet dinners, food tasting seminars, cooking classes, art exhibitions, spa treatments, music recitals to luxury afternoon teas.

In collaboration with internationally acclaimed names such as Chef Marcus Dudley, Japanese Chef Yoshiaki Takazawa and world-class vineyards from France, Italy and Australia, the hotel will create unparalleled gourmet themed dinners in the rich setting of the hotel's fascinating restaurants.

Chef Takazawa, Tokyo's best-kept secret and one of the world's youngest upcoming chefs, will present his revolutionary culinary skills. His restaurant and cooking style is modelled on a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. He will present an exclusive lunch and dinner serving ten dishes specifically created for the guests

This year's festival introduces a mixture of cultural events to stimulate all five senses such as the art exhibition of German-born artist Nidhi Wiesner. A silent auction of Wiesner's paintings will be held and all money raised from the auction will be donated to the Shafallah Centre.

Another exciting event during the festival is DIVE In, where guests can enjoy an evening by the pool watching this year's hottest animation film, Ratatouille, as well as an old-time classic, Jaws. There will be activities for the kids, hosted by Ritz Kids, like cooking classes hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Doha pastry Chef, painting classes hosted by artist Wiesner, and music classes hosted by the Royal Schools of Music.
