For this online edition of the Education City Speaker Series, we welcome Layla F. Saad, author of the New York Times best-selling book "Me and White Supremacy": Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor. In her talk, she will reflect on her own experiences of racism and explain how we can all fulfill a social responsibility to identify and undo racism in our own communities, through our own actions.
The event will be titled “Race and Identity in the 21st Century,” and will be moderated by Dr. Amal Mohammed Al-Malki, Founding Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
