Doha Mums Library
Doha Mums Library is now opened! Located in the Souq Waqif, the library will be opened three days a week. You need to be Doha Mums member to join, but it’s sooo worth it! With over 800 titles to read, storytimes and crafts it is guaranteed fun for your little ones. Visit the Doha Mums website for further information: www.dohamums.com

Doha Mums Chocolate Indulgence Cooking Class at the Grand Hyatt
The Grand Hyatt in association with renowned chocolate producer Felchlin Switzerland, Adinsa Trading & Contracting Est. and Masterbaker Marketing FZCO, is pleased to invite Doha Mums to a private Chocolate cooking class Wednesday 10th November from 9.30am-12.30pm. Conducted by Felchlin’s corporate pastry chef, Simon Badertscher, Doha Mums will learn how to make Chocolate Brownie, Éclair Chocolate, Pistache Verrine and other sweet temptations.
The class will take place in Issan restaurant at 9.30am, with a participation fee of QR150 per person, including lunch, recipes and giveaways from Felchlin.


Doha Mums Book Swap
Please join us for a swap of books, mags, and stories on Monday 1st & 15th November from 10am-12pm, Starbucks, Landmark. Enjoy a coffee, chat and pick up a new book! If you have a passion for reading, or just like to browse through a magazine all you need to do is bring a book or magazine to swap.

Doha Mums Gondolania Soft Play Area Playgroup
Let’s get together on Monday 1st November from 12.30pm-2pm and every Monday afternoon thereafter for a play at the new soft play in Villaggio's Gondolania. It's great for kids of all ages!
You need to pay the cashier, who will put credit on a card for you, just on the left of the entrance. Soft play only is 15QR for as long as you want. Turn right at the entrance and follow it round and you will see some trampolines and an enormous soft play area that’s where will be!





Doha Mums Standard First Aid with CPR - Adult, Child and Infant course
Be trained by a professional instructor to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. Doha Mums will gain knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. Duration of course is 8 hours (2 days -4 hours/day) on November 5 and November 6, 1:00pm - 5:00 pm at the American School of Doha’s Health Room.


Doha Mums Family Park Day at Dahl Al Hamam Park
As the weather is finally beginning to cool down come and join us for some fun at the park each Saturday from 10am-12noon. Dahl Al Hamam Park is undoubtedly one of the best in Doha, as its set far back from the main road and almost all of the play area is covered. Don't forget to bring your own drinks, snacks and sun screen, we may even organise a few games on the grass for the kids. Dahl Al Hamam Park is next to the Dahl Al Hamam roundabout opposite Star Fish Lane Nursery. a few hundred metres from Land Mark shopping Mall on Al Markiya Street.


Doha Mums – MUM’S NIGHT OUT
This month our Mum Mums Night Out dinner will take place at the legendary Gordon Ramsay’s Maze restaurant at The Pearl. RSVP essential Date Tuesday 23rd November from 7pm.

Doha Mums Angsana Spa Event
Members are invited to experience a Hydrotherapy treatment plus massage at the luxurious Angsana Spa, situated in the Grand Regency Hotel at 9.30am on Sunday 21st November.


INFORMATIVE SESSIONS

Doha Mums Breastfeeding Support Group
Please join us on Wednesday 3rd November, (and recurring every first Wednesday of each month thereafter) for a chat and receive some support for nursing your baby. Some find it tough, others find it easy.... it’s nice to meet other moms who are doing the same. Babies and their siblings of any age are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.



POOL/EXERCISE PLAYGROUPS

Doha Mums Intercontinental Hotel Pool Playgroup on Mondays
Join us for a pool playgroup at the Intercontinental Hotel every Monday throughout November morning from 9.30am-12.30pm. The little ones will enjoy the shaded pool and the older kids can explore Doha's longest private beach.


Doha Mums Come Walk with Me (Stroller Group)
Join our Walking Group every Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday from 9 AM to 10 AM at various locations. This group is for EVERYONE & it is FREE!!!! Kids can take classes up to any age so long as they still enjoy a ride in the stroller or a baby carrier. Sunday: VILLAGGIO MALL: We will meet just inside the VIP/Valet parking entrance of the Mall .Tuesday: LANDMARK MALL: We will meet in front of the main entrance to the food court, just outside Starbuck’s by the balloon stand and fountain. Thursday: VILLAGGIO MALL: We will meet just inside the VIP/Valet parking entrance of the mall.




REGULAR AGED PLAYGROUPS



Doha Mums Parachute Play
Please join us each Wednesday from 10am-12.30pm for Parachute Play in the Al Waab area. Parachute play is a positive co-operative group activity which can be used for different games for ages 18 months-6 yrs and is both educational and fun. It is non-competitive play and teaches agility, body movements, co-ordination and teamwork. Tea & coffee plus snacks will be available afterwards for the mums.


Doha Mums 2008 Toddler Playgroup
Every second Sunday from 10-12pm please take a drive to Al Khor for a play and chat with Doha Mums members based in the Al Kor community. Hosted at Dolphin Villas, Al Khor community, Gate 3.

Doha Mums Toddlers & Mums Playgroup
Every Thursday from 2-4pm, Al Waab area please join us for some adult conversation while the little ones play! Drinks and snacks will be provided.


Doha Mums Morning Playgroup for Kids Born in 2009
Every Tuesday please join us at the Penry’s villa near "The Mall" for plenty of fun! Drinks and snacks will be provided. Siblings welcome!


Doha Mums Morning Playgroup for Kids Born in 2008
Join in on the tot fun each Wednesday from 9am-11am, location D-Ring Road.

Doha Mums Morning Playgroup for Kids Born in 2007
Every Wednesday from 10am -12pm please join the nearly 3 year olds for some fun at Beverley Hills Garden 2, near Villaggio Mall. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Doha Mums 2010 Babies Group
Calling all babies born this year!!! Join us each Sunday from 1pm-3pm in the Abu Hamour area for a catch up and coffee!

Doha Mums New Arrivals Coffee
Whether you are new to Doha, new to Doha Expat Mums and Kids or just want to welcome someone who is, please join us for a casual coffee each Tuesday at Starbucks, Landmark from 10-12noon! Children are welcome and there’s no need to RSVP

Need a break from the kids? Join us for a kid-free coffee every Tuesday from 10am-12noon at The One cafe in Landmark Mall. No kids please - not even babies!!

Doha Mums Expectant & New Mums Coffee
Join other new mums and mums-to-be to talk “all things baby”! Doha Expat Mums & Kids hosts a coffee every Thursday 10am -noon. The location varies so check the Doha Expat Mums and Kids website for dates and details. Bring your little ones so we all can ooh and aah!

Doha Mums Soccer Break for Dads
Join us in a friendly pick-up game with like minded dads each Saturday from 6pm. Location Qipco compound, West Bay. Recurs every Saturday.
