DISSOLVING DISPERSION - “A SEMINAR TO UNLEASH AND INTEGRATE CRITICAL THINKING AND CLINICAL REASONING OF NURSES AND ALLIED HEALTH PRACTITIONERS”

This activity is a Category 1 - Accredited Group Learning Activity as defined by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners - Accreditation Department and is approved for 7.0 hours.

The overall goal of this activity is that after the end of this seminar, you, as the individual participant would be able to develop critical thinking and integrate it with clinical reasoning by practicing safe, effective and professional care. Specifically, at the end of each allotted time set for individual session, you are expected to describe the significance of developing critical thinking abilities; describe the actions of critical thinking in the implementation process; discuss the attitudes and skills needed to develop critical thinking and clinical reasoning; identify the components of clinical reasoning; integrate strategies to enhance critical thinking and clinical reasoning as the provider of care; describe the process of concept mapping to enhance critical thinking and clinical reasoning; clarify vague concepts, and; describe how this activity has contributed to you in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude acquisition.
