About This Workshop
This workshop has been designed to offer a complete, up-to-date review of the effect understanding and use of the Contracts currently practiced. The Contracts Management Workshop program has been designed to be highly practical and includes active participation in ‘hands-on’ workshops and discussion sessions.
The workshop leader is highly qualified in his experience of the Contracts Managements using General Conditions of Contract and FIDIC (Red Book) The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) has, over the years, issued a number of Standard documents for use on construction projects. The contracts which are currently in most common use around the world are: The Conditions of Contract for Construction (The 1999 Red Book); The Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build (The 1999 Yellow Book); The Conditions of Contract for EPC Turnkey
The workshop provides the necessary knowledge for professionals from Government Ministries and Agencies, Private Sector Employers, Consulting Engineers, Contractors, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Legal Advisers and all involved with the next generation of International Projects.
It is particularly important to those involved in preparing or managing infrastructure projects financed under ISPA, as all contracts that are funded by the EU, will be under the FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
16 hours to be carried out over 2 days ,including presentation, workshop, valuable supporting documents, soft & hard templates for conditions of contract for building & engineering works, conditions of contract. Guidance for the preparation of particular conditions and others from
1999 till all later editions.
