Daniel Chamberlain is from London, England and trained at the World renowned Arts Educational School from the age of 11-16 yrs old. As a pupil, he appeared in the English National Ballet's production of The Nutcracker and Cinderella in London, as well as on tour. He also appeared weekly as a dancer, singer and presenter on Emu's world and Emu's All Live Pink Windmill Show on ITV for four years.

His other television appearances included The Hot Shoe Show and the Royal Variety Shows for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth for four successive years. On leaving Arts Educational School he joined the Ballet Rambert School, where he completed a three year diploma course, subsequently joining the Ballet Rambert Performance Company. After leaving the Rambert Ballet Company, Daniel appeared in many television commercials and modelled extensively in Spain and Germany. He then joined the West End, London company of 'Cats' where he appeared for two years playing the roles of Bill Bailey and Skimbleshanks.

He continued his time in the West End with Andrew Lloyd Webber for two and a half years at Her Majesty's Theatre in 'The Phantom of the Opera' where he played the principal dance role of 'The Slavemaster'. After five years in the West End, Daniel joined the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford Upon Avon to appear in their production of The Secret Garden, which also then transferred into The Aldwych Theatre in London. This was only the second time in the history of the RSC that a musical was brought into the West End, the only other time was Les Miserables.

Over the last fifteen years he has contributed to raising thousands of pounds for the Royal Variety Club of Great Britain, performing at many charity events. He also enjoys teaching in his home town of London, when he gets the opportunity. He is really looking forward to coming to Doha, to talk about, to dance and to teach parts of his favourite show, the phenomenal, worldwide multi award winning... CATS the musical.
