Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) will host a Breast Cancer Conference under the theme ‘Present standards and new perspectives’ at Sheraton Doha on October 28 and 29.

Lectures will be delivered by speakers and top experts in the field of breast cancer from Qatar, other GCC countries, Austria, Canada, US, and Egypt.

The QCS official pointed out that the conference is a unique accredited continuous professional development opportunity for healthcare providers in the field of breast cancer healthcare at local, regional and international levels.

The conference will be an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge with top international experts and familiarise with the latest medical technologies in the field of breast cancer.

The educational programme of the breast cancer conference is directed toward all health care providers involved in breast cancer care.
Overall learning objectives of the conference are to update the participants’ knowledge of novel approaches of prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer without any branding; provide practical information to enhance the quality of care of breast cancer; familiarise the participants with the current standards of breast cancer care in Qatar; highlight the importance of psycho-oncologic support for breast cancer patients and emphasise the importance of life after treatment for breast cancer survivors.
