Save the dates for the Arab Youth Anti-Corruption Hackathon, which will provide an opportunity for young people to expand their knowledge of corruption-related topics & enhance their social, leadership, & technical skills.
Knowing that the hackathon will be held in Doha, Qatar, the program invites young software developers and IT enthusiasts from the following countries to participate; Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen, United Arab Emirates.
The hackathon consists of two phases: the five-day online bootcamp, which will be held from the 27th to the 31st, where participants will receive training on specific topics and a five-day coding challenge, which participants must attend in Doha, Qatar, from 10 to 14 September 2023. (Participants will be notified of the exact location in advance).
The winning teams will have the opportunity to further develop their proposed technology solution with the support of hackathon partners who seek to promote the use of ICT solutions in their anti-corruption efforts.
