Following the tremendous success of the second edition, the 2020 Qatar Chamber SME Conference is set to be yet again a significant event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Qatar. The second edition of the Qatar Chamber SME’s conference, was under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Interior focused on Turkey.
This year the focus will be on the United Kingdom to hear firsthand their experiences and best practices taking place at international level in order to provide innovative solutions and encourage creative thinking among entrepreneurs and investors. The 3rd SME conference is under the patronage of HE Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari. It is taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2020 at Sheraton Hotel.
SMEs are crucial to Qatar’s National Vision 2030 which has set up a number of strategic goals, including building a well-diversified economy. The SMEs Conference represents an opportunity to invite SMEs around the world to share their best practices and enable local entrepreneurs to take inspiration from their success stories as well as to provide information on what the international, regional and local authorities are offering to support small and medium-sized businesses. The conference will be a great platform to contribute in achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030.
