Launched on April 28th 2011 in Dubai, JAMROCK is the combination of Caribbean and Urban rhymes that creates an atmosphere of a Carnival, where patrons are able to dance till they can't dance no more.

Jamrock has become one of the most successful club nights of the week in Dubai. Not only does this event bring the West Indian vibe across the waters for all to experience, Jamrock is also the first club night that consistently brings top local & international DJ’s to the set, as well as named Reggae, Soca, and Dance Hall artists to perform in the Middle East like:

ABOUT SHERO

Shero Baluch, aka DJ Shero, began his DJing career at age 20 in Cyprus, Greece.
After perfecting his skills, Shero shifted his sights to the up and coming nightclub scene of Dubai, UAE. Teaming with a number of DJ’s in the UAE, DJ Shero has become the resident DJ at four of Dubai’s hottest night spots: ZINC CROWN PLAZA (Sun), THE EDGE ( alongside Dany Neville of Radio1), ELEGANTE CLUB (Mon) - THINK TWICE, CHI THE LODGE (Tue) - SLAM NIGHT, C-BAR (Wed) - BLING SHOWERS, BONSAI (Thurs) – CANDY, and ELEGANTE (Fri) - NO.1 FRIDAYS. In addition to this steady DJ routine, Shero makes regular Guest DJ appearance around Dubai: Sublime – Ibis Hotel @ DWTC, Club Fresh @ Crowne Plaza Hotel , The Mix – Grand Hyatt, Oxygen – Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, and The Loft – Sheikh Zayed Rd.

Being the only DJ in the Middle East to be signed to an international label DEF DJS (SOSO DEF RECORDINGS) Shero has had the opportunity to do mix tapes for some of the biggest hip-hop and R&B artists all over the world. The official mix tape of Jermaine Dupree, CEO SOSO DEF Label, circulated to over 8000 R&B and hip-hop fans in the U.A.E.

His musical influences range from Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Funk, Retro, Dancehall, Reggae, and a bit of everything else. “Music is a very competitive industry and it is very important as a DJ to stay on top of the game.”

Achievements include being the opening act for the following concerts & artists:
Montell Jordan, Horace Brown, Jagged Edge, Dru Hill, Omarion, Lloyd, Marques Houston, De La Soul, Mos Def, Nick Cannon, JOE, Masari, Karl Wolf, Lloyd Banks, Jay Sean, Abri, Nina Sky, Amerie, Black Street, Artful Dodger, Black Violin, 112, Next Bashy, Swiss, Rupee, Dnaeo, Eve , and Ryan Leslie.

DJ Shero also played alongside these international DJ’s:
DJ Scotty B, Rony Harrell, PrimeCut from the Scratch Perverts & DJ Woody (DMC & ITF Champion), Shortee Blitz, Whoo Kid, Cash Money (Hip Hop’s No. 1), DJ Tee Luv (Timberland's Official DJ), Steve Sutherland, Rampage, DJ Spin Easy, DJ Beware (DMC Title Holder) and DJ CRAZE.
