Or picture yourself in 1967 walking home with your copy of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, putting the needle to the record and being met with a totally new sound.

The Beatles defined a generation with their sound, their look and their lifestyle. All these elements informed their musical development. Today their music is as important as ever with every band name checking the Liverpool combo as an inspiration.

Songs that we have all grown up with have become modern classical music with Lennon & McCartney often names alongside the great composers. And that’s before you consider the contributions of Harrison and Starr as well as the likes of their producer George Martin and their manager Brian Epstein.
