Winter Season Start Celebration

Qatar is all about camping and desert fun (to most of us anyway :D) and the Ministry of Environment has set the official camping season for this winter from the beginning of November till the end of March. So, in the spirit of welcoming the winter season, we are going out to enjoy a full day camp by the beach.

We will be driving down to a spot at the Inland Sea and setting up for the day.

Camping spot and track will differ from our last Eid trip.
We will be BBQ'ing swimming and having fun. There will be plenty of dunes around for all members to play too.

Fun games will be there waiting for you.

If you wish to bring something to share such as a volley ball net or a football or a soccer ball, please post here and see if others are interested.

We plan to depart Sealine at 8:30 am. The route taken to the camping spot will be the easiest possible that most people can do.

Once we reach the camping spot, those interested can follow the leaders to have a bit more adrenaline rush offroading on the nearby dunes.


All 4x4's (4WD) are welcome. Please no AWD vehicles as they will not reach our destination. All Tires must be deflated to 15psi to be able driving in desert.

Vehicles will be inspected on the day for capability of making the trip.

Bring your own supplies. Every car has to be self-sufficient with food, drinks, and anything you would need to have a fun day.
If you don't have 4x4 car you can post here and ask to hitch a ride and hope one of the guest drivers could offer you a ride.

Bring something to share: Snacks, drinks, Karak, games, or even interesting stories.

Families and singles of all ages are welcome. No infants under 5 years old.
You can bring your pets too as some of us are going to do that.

Every car has to not have more passengers than designated by the car maker.

Each person should have a separate seat and wear a seatbelt at ALL times.

Make sure you don’t leave your garbage behind. We want to leave the place cleaner than we arrived.

We will leave in different convoys starting at 7 pm heading back to Sealine.
