Traditionally, a ceremony is held to officially commence Christmas festivities. Come and celebrate the start of Christmas in the hotel’s atrium with live music presented by the Doha Singers, followed by a great atmosphere in the hotel’s gardens. Please call 30293748 for bookings or enquiries.
The Doha Singers is Qatar’s largest and oldest amateur choir that brings a wide range of choral music to members and audience alike. They are a 4 part adult choir (SATB) with a membership between 70 and 80 singers. Their repertoire is a wide one, with a mixture of modern and older pieces, both sacred and secular.
Aside from the 2 main concerts per year (Christmas and festive music in December and a more secular programme in April/May), they enjoy performing at events such as school fairs, tree lighting ceremonies and cultural festivals. For more information, email: [email protected]
