Organizers of the SundanceTV Shorts competition are offering audiences a chance to meet members of the jury through a virtual webinar.
The panel will include jury members Harold Gronenthal, Executive Vice President, Programming and Marketing, AMC Networks International and Palestinian filmmaker Annemarie Jacir, who has written, directed and produced over sixteen films, two of which premiered as Official Selections in Cannes.
In addition to tips on creating winning submissions, industry experts Fatma Alremaihi, CEO of the Doha Film Institute and Mohamed Al-Subaie, Acting CEO, beIN Media Group – MENA will shed light on the growing appetite for short films in the region and how aspiring filmmakers can make their stories stand out.
The session will be moderated by filmmaker and professor in residence at Northwestern University in Qatar, Dana Atrache.
