On 25 May to 5 June at 9 pm until 10 pm, children can enjoy Islamic Storytelling at the Diamond node by L’ETO and Le Petit Train Blue restaurants , in addition to the regular storytelling tent that will be located Angry Birds Atrium, Lower Ground level, from 23 - 24 May, 8 pm-10 pm.
It is our delight to welcome to Festival City, on 22 - 25 May, Qatar Red Crescent will be collecting new and used toys to be donated to children in Qatar and abroad. This comes as part of a CSR initiative titled Box of Happiness, created by Alya Almaadhadi, and sponsored by Qatar Red Crescent. The event will take place at the Entertainment Node on the Ground Floor, by Toys ‘R’ Us, encouraging the public to join in this sharing act by donating and wrapping up the boxes.
Foodies and budding chefs can enjoy the Cooking Classes happening at the South Food Court, Ground Floor. On Thursday 23 May, from 8.00 pm to 10 pm, Chef Emad of The Cooking Academy, will take the stage to show the audience how to cook some Italian favourites and Qatari Chef Aisha Al Tamimi, will follow, wrapping up the evening with Qatari traditional dishes. On Friday, 24 May, Chef Tasneem Nasrallah will share with Doha the secrets to her delicious Kuwaiti Dish Mumawash Shrimp, followed by Chef Emad who will focus on Indian cuisine.
