Doha-Qatar - It's been a year since Maya Mason, a simple girl from Qatar with big dreams began her journey as a full time student of Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. Her vision since childhood to become a famous music artist is now taking into shape with hard work and full commitment with the Institution that unravelled roll call of former students who have gone on to success in theatre, film, television and music.
She credits her strong foundation as a performing artist to the support of her family and friends who encouraged her to pursue her dreams. More importantly, her immense training in IAID, the first of its kind Performing Arts Academy in Qatar prepared her to conquer her early aspirations. She started her musical training as a Western Vocals and Piano student of IAID under the curriculum of the London College Music (LCM), University of West London, UK. With her innate talent and drive to learn, Maya received Distinction remarks in all her LCM examinations making her as one of the outstanding students of the Academy. Moreover, her participation in IAID’s big events such as the Talent Extravaganza Night, Doha Tribeca Film Festival, Flower Each Spring Program and IAID talent road shows gave her valuable exposure and experience in performing on stage.
As the Academy which served as Maya's training grounds, IAID will stage a mini concert to celebrate her quest.
