Fourteen-year-old Laura Dekker sets out on a two-year voyage as the youngest person ever to attempt sailing around the world alone. After a year-long battle with Dutch authorities that sparked a global storm of media scrutiny, Laura finds herself far from land, family and unwanted attention, exploring the world in search of freedom and adventure. The film won the Audience Award at the 2013 SXSW Film Festival and the Camden International Film Festival.
