The popular Al Khor Fly-In event, set to be held at Al Khor airport on 1 and 2 February 2019.
The two-day open event – first held in 2008 - is expected to attract large numbers of families and aviation enthusiasts. It is aimed at promoting the sport of flying to the general public, and the adoption of aviation as a hobby, as well as encouraging tourism in Qatar.
A wide range of aircraft and aviation technology will be on display at the event, and visitors will be able to interact with pilots and learn about the aircraft they fly. Some of Qatar’s most experienced acrobatic pilots will also be showcased during the Fly-In.
The Al Khor airport is located 31km north of Doha, to the east of the Al Khor coastal road. Gates will be open from 8am until 6pm, with entrance absolutely free, and there will be a host of dining options open all day, so families can enjoy a bite to eat while they make the most of the activities on offer.
