Inspired by the works of Samia Halaby, Paint Palette will encourage young children to explore colour, learn art vocabulary and identify shapes while producing vibrant, abstract works on canvas.
Born in Jerusalem in 1936, Samia Halaby is a leading abstract painter and an influential scholar of Palestinian art. Although based in the United States since 1951, Halaby is recognized as a pioneer of contemporary abstraction in the Arab world.
Take your little tots to Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art for a series of three workshops starting the middle of this month and running up until November.
Location: Art workshop will take place in the Manara Art Studio at Mathaf.
