Green thumbs are a myth. We can teach you how to take care of your plants.

In this Gardening Basics Workshop, our students will learn how to prepare the best potting mix for their plants and get a chance to repot a plant under the guidance of our experts. They will get introduced to the basics of planting and maintaining a green area in their garden or balcony, starting with the plant requirements for light, water, air and nutrients.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

• Prepare the best potting mix for new plantations
• Maintain your green spaces with the minimum effort and losses
• Move your plants successfully into larger / more suitable containers
• Identify basic enemies and deficiencies and be able to treat them in natural ways.

This an in-person workshop. Suitable for all abilities and garden sizes.

About Vicky Damalou:

With a Master’s degree in Agriculture and after working for some years in gardening and agricultural production & marketing in Europe, I moved to Qatar in 2010.

Ever since, I have worked in production, marketing and sales in various agricultural businesses, in garden centers, in the establishment of greenhouses, and the business development of landscaping and agricultural supplies companies.

I have a solid knowledge of the gardening and agricultural practices of different crops in Qatar, and through my workshops, I would like to help the world become more green!
