An intensive three-week program for students, where they will engage in various activities geared towards teaching coding, electronics, and computational thinking, and foster creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Summer Camp 2022 Program List

  • Web Design: July 31 - August 04, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
    Students in Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 will learn the fundamentals of web design and will create several web pages using HTML and CSS. These webpages will be hosted on an educational platform so that they can keep a running portfolio of their creative projects, and easily share their work with the world.

  • Exploring Robotics with Wedo 2.0: August 07 - 11, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
    Students from grades 3 to 5 will learn the basics of robotics building and programming using Lego’s Wedo 2.0. They will discover how engineering and programming work together to make exciting creations.

  • 3D Modeling and Printing: July 31 - August 04, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
    Students will learn the basics of 3D designing and how to use TinkerCAD, an online 3D design tool to imagine, create and make 3D digital models. They will make everything from name tags، pen containers and personalized figures. Later, they will take home a printed object of their own design.

  • Machine Learning in Scratch: August 07 - 11, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
    Students in Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 will learn the basics of Machine Learning. They will train machine learning models to recognize text, numbers, images, and sounds and use these models to create hands-on projects and build games using Scratch.

  • Film Making: August 07 - 11, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
    Students from grades 7 to 10 will learn how to create films using their phones or tablets. They will learn the basic theoretical and practical aspects of filmmaking including storyboarding, scripting, shooting, and editing.

  • Exploring Micro: bit: August 07 - 11, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
    Students from grades 4 to 7 will learn how to program electronics using the BBC micro: bit, a microprocessor designed specifically to teach programming through physical computing.
